Krabi Province · Andaman coast
Krabi is the mainland province across Phang Nga Bay from Phuket, known for limestone cliffs rising straight out of the sea. Ao Nang is the main beach town; Railay, reachable only by longtail boat, is the postcard peninsula with climbing and caves.
Krabi Town, 20 minutes inland, is the local market town with the night market and the pier for Koh Lanta and the Phi Phi ferries. Klong Muang and Tubkaek beaches to the north are quiet and resort-oriented.
Boat days are the core of a Krabi trip: the Four Islands tour, Hong Islands, Phi Phi, and the Emerald Pool and hot springs inland.
Fly into KBV and take a private transfer to Ao Nang or Klong Muang. From Phuket, Krabi is about three hours by road or 1.5–2 hours by ferry via Phi Phi.
Hotels, resorts and villas in Krabi with room-type booking and an e-voucher for the property.
Day trips, shows and experiences in Krabi with pick-up details and cancellation terms stated on each tour.
Hotel nights, guided days and transfers in Krabi combined into one booking and one voucher.
Whole-boat charters from Krabi marinas — half-day, full-day and sunset trips with captain and crew.
Ao Nang has the most hotels, restaurants and tour departures and is reached by road. Railay is quieter and more scenic but boat-access only, so luggage transfers and evening options are limited.
A private transfer from KBV to Ao Nang takes 30–40 minutes. Shared shuttles also run but wait for other passengers.
A longtail or speedboat day trip from Ao Nang to Phra Nang Cave Beach, Chicken Island, Tup Island and Poda Island, with snorkelling and the low-tide sandbar between Tup and Chicken islands.
Yes. Phuket and Krabi are about three hours apart by road, and packages on BookMyThai can cover both with hotel nights, island tours and transfers.
