The cancellation and refund rules for every booking made on BookMyThai.com, operated by Karni Digital Solutions Co., Ltd. Please read them before you book.
Effective date: 9 October 2026 · Last updated: 9 October 2026
Every product shows its cancellation rule before you pay, and the same rule is printed on your booking confirmation and e-voucher. The standard windows in this policy apply unless your booking shows a different rule; if it does, the rule on your booking applies.
All times are Thailand time (Asia/Bangkok, GMT+7). Hotel windows count back from check-in time, which is 14:00 on the check-in date unless the hotel states otherwise. Other products count back from the start, pickup or departure time on your voucher. A cancellation takes effect when we receive your request.
Rates and products marked "Non-refundable" at the time of booking cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded, in full or in part — including for no-shows, late arrival, early departure or unused services. These rates are usually cheaper because of this condition, and you accept it when you book.
The only exceptions are when the supplier cancels or cannot provide the service, or when Thai law requires a refund.
Where offered, the following are strictly non-refundable once the booking is confirmed:
If an eSIM cannot be activated because of a technical fault on the provider's side, or a restaurant cannot honour a confirmed booking, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or a refund.
If your booking is refundable, you receive a refund (less the cancellation fee in the next section) when you cancel within these windows:
If you cancel later than this, or do not show up, no refund is due. Some products offer a longer free-cancellation window or a partial refund; where that is shown on your booking, it applies.
A cancellation fee is deducted from the refund when you cancel a refundable booking. It covers payment processing and administration costs.
No cancellation fee is charged when the supplier cancels, when a booking cannot be confirmed, when the cancellation is caused by our error, or for duplicate payments.
If you do not arrive, arrive late, miss a pickup or check out early, the booking is treated as cancelled after the window and no refund is due. Unused nights, tickets, meals or parts of a package are not refundable.
If the Cancel button is not available — for example because the window has closed or the supplier must confirm — contact us and we will review your request against the rule on your booking. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation and the refund amount.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through the same payment provider (Stripe, Omise or Razorpay). Where offered, you may choose BMT Wallet credit for a future booking instead. Bookings paid with BMT Wallet or an agency wallet are refunded to that wallet.
We send the refund to the payment provider promptly after approval. Wallet credit appears immediately. Card and bank refunds usually take 7–14 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are made in the original payment currency; we are not responsible for exchange-rate differences or fees charged by your bank.
If a supplier cancels a confirmed booking or cannot provide the service, you can choose a suitable alternative (where available) or a full refund, with no cancellation fee. If weather, sea conditions, safety concerns or official orders stop an activity, transfer or charter, the supplier may offer a new date; if none suits you, you receive a full refund for the affected service. If a hotel cannot honour your booking, we help you find comparable accommodation or refund you in full.
Changes to dates, times, names or options depend on supplier availability and any price difference. Changes requested inside the cancellation window, or to non-refundable bookings, may not be possible. If a change is not possible, the cancellation rules above apply.
If you are charged twice, or a payment is taken after a booking was cancelled or failed, we refund the extra amount in full. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us with your booking code before raising a dispute with your bank — we can usually resolve it faster.
This policy does not limit any rights you have under Thai law, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and the Civil and Commercial Code.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. If the rule shown on your booking is more favourable to you than this policy, that rule applies to that booking.
